Exide Technologies named Official Supplier and OE battery provider to Ducati

• Exide ET7B-BS AGM battery approved as OE fitment for Monster and Hypermotard V2 motorcycles
• Proven aftermarket battery adapted and validated for original equipment application
• Battery specification available for both OE and aftermarket customers

Exide Technologies, a leading provider of innovative and sustainable battery storage solutions for automotive and industrial applications, has been selected as supplier to Ducati and will provide the Exide ET7B-BS AGM battery as original equipment for selected Ducati motorcycle models.

As part of its supply agreements with Ducati, Exide will provide the ET7B-BS, a 12V 6.5Ah AGM battery, as original equipment for Ducati Monster and Hypermotard V2 models manufactured at Ducati production facilities worldwide. The collaboration is further strengthened through Exide's participation in the Ducati Official Supplier program. Based on a product already established in the aftermarket, the battery was adapted to meet Ducati's OE specifications and successfully completed the manufacturer's validation process.

The ET7B-BS builds on a proven aftermarket platform. For its use as original equipment in Ducati motorcycles, the battery was adapted through specific modifications to the acid pack configuration and validated to Ducati's requirements. This specification is now available across both OE and aftermarket channels.

As a member of Ducati's Official Supplier programme, Exide joins a select group of companies recognised for supporting the performance, quality and innovation standards that define the Ducati brand.
