Sprinter Pure Power batteries are based on next generation AGM thin plate, pure lead technology, engineered for AI integration, grid support and maximum reliability and performance in high-demand large-scale collocation and hyperscale data centers. The robust thin plate design provides excellent energy transfer, while specialized polypropylene containers help minimize water vapor emissions and extend service life.
Compared to traditional AGM batteries, Sprinter Pure Power provides a significant reduction of the data center total cost of ownership (TCO), thanks to 20% more power at high-rate discharge, 15-20% space saving, more than 12 years design life (Eurobat classification) and reduced charging cost due to their excellent charge efficiency. The thin plate design of Sprinter Pure Power ensures maximum energy transfer, and the special polypropylene container reduces water vapor emissions and prolongs the maintenance-free service life.
Meanwhile, the Solition Data Center represents Exide Technologies’ most advanced lithium-ion energy storage solution yet, developed specifically for data center and commercial UPS applications. It comprises smart fire protection at the module level and supports the combination of new and used batteries, significantly reducing the minimum space required. Solition Data Center offers high power density, resulting in significant space-saving and a 60% smaller footprint. It cuts operating costs by up to 80 % and features a smart Battery Management System for real-time monitoring and minimal maintenance.
“We are excited to be back at Data Centre World Paris, an event that continues to shape the future of energy and digital infrastructure. And we are proud to present a portfolio that meets today’s grid support and backup power demands and drives long-term value and environmental responsibility”, said Serge Arbes, Senior Business Director Global Energy Solutions at Exide Technologies.
