ees Europe 2026, the international exhibition for batteries and energy storage systems, opens today in Munich, marking the start of three days focused on the latest industry developments .

Over the next three days, Exide Technologies will show how current market dynamics translate into tangible business value. The focus will be on practical BESS applications  supporting optimized energy use, costs reduction and new revenue streams. Key topics include industrial energy flexibility and co-location, both increasingly relevant for energy-intensive industries and data centers.

Navigating the industrial electricity framework
A central element of Exide’s presence is how evolving electricity pricing frameworks can be addressed through energy storage solutions. At the stand, energy experts Peter Dächert, external energy consultant, and Tobias Badelt, Sales Director BESS at Exide Technologies, will provide insights into how customers can combine these frameworks with energy storage solutions to improve cost efficiency and operational resilience, using Germany’s temporary industrial electricity price (Industriestrompreis) as one example.

As part of its energy solutions portfolio for industrial and large-scale applications, Exide will present its Solition Mega series battery storage systems, designed for modular and scalable deployment across a range of use cases.
