Exide Technologies, a leading provider of innovative and sustainable battery storage solutions for automotive and industrial applications, will place its industry-leading AGM technology center stage at Automechanika Frankfurt 2026 through a focused program of expert talks, technical insights and product showcases.

Bringing its When Leaders Trust campaign to life, Exide invites visitors to explore why trusted  battery technology, industry expertise and real-world aftermarket know-how remain essential in a changing mobility landscape. AGM technology will remain a central theme of Exide’s presence, reflecting the company’s strong original equipment expertise and the continued relevance of 12V AGM batteries in today’s and tomorrow’s demanding vehicle applications.

Leader Talks: trusted voices from across the industry
Going beyond its own expert presentations, Exide will welcome invited guest speakers from across the industry, including an OEM perspective from Ford Motor Company, aftermarket intelligence from GiPA Group, industry association insights from AAMPACT e.V. and practical training expertise from Trainmobil. Together with presentations from Exide specialists, these “Leader Talks” will address four key themes: AGM technology, the transformation of the automotive, future workshop requirements and Exide's latest battery solutions.

With this format, Exide is creating a forum where trusted industry voices can share insights and exchange perspectives with customers, workshop professionals and visitors — connecting expertise, experience and open dialogue to help the aftermarket move forward together.

A comprehensive technology showcase
Alongside its AGM portfolio for light vehicles, Exide will present a broad range of automotive battery technologies, including xEV solutions and its recently updated commercial vehicle battery range.

As part of its strengthened CV portfolio, Exide introduces the new AGM PRO range for modern trucks with high power demands and high vibrations resistance requirements. AGM PRO further expands Exide’s commercial vehicle offering, complementing GEL PRO, the company’s flagship technology for the most demanding, energy-intensive and extreme cycling applications. Together, these technologies enable distributors, workshops and fleet operators to select the most appropriate solution for a wide range of operating conditions and vehicle requirements, optimizing their Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
