Exide Technologies highlights industrial energy flexibility at ees Europe 2026
- Dynamic electricity tariffs as part of Exide’s key focus areas at ees Europe 2026
- Demonstrating how challenges can be turned into business opportunities
- Focus on solutions to optimize energy use, reduce costs and unlock new revenue streams
- Meet Exide Technologies at Hall B2, stand 320
Exide Technologies, a leading provider of innovative and sustainable battery storage solutions for automotive and industrial applications, returns to ees Europe, the international exhibition for batteries and energy storage systems in Munich, to showcase its latest developments.
From 23 to 25 June at Messe München, Exide will focus on industrial energy flexibility, enabling large manufacturing and commercial operations to adjust their power usage in response to grid conditions, optimize energy usage, reduce costs and unlock new revenue opportunities.
Exide will also highlight the potential of co-location as a growing business opportunity, particularly for energy-intensive industries and data centers. Integrating Battery Energy Storeage Systems (BESS) enables companies to increase operational flexibility, implement peak shaving and create additional revenue streams while improving overall energy efficiency.
Solition Mega series in focus
Alongside its comprehensive portfolio of energy storage solutions, Exide will present its Solition Mega series battery storage systems, designed for modular and scalable deployment in industrial and large-scale applications, supporting both front-of-the-meter and behind-the-meter use cases. The systems are available in liquid-cooled configurations, meeting the highest safety standards.
Highlighting state-subsidized industrial electricity price in Germany (Industriestrompreis)
In this context, Exide will also highlight, particularly for the German market, the temporary, state-subsidized industrial electricity price (Industriestrompreis) and its implications for industrial competitiveness. With energy costs remaining a critical challenge especially within the German market, the company will demonstrate how businesses can leverage this policy framework in combination with energy storage solutions to improve cost efficiency and resilience. Energy experts Peter Dächert, external energy consultant, and Tobias Badelt, Sale Director BESS at Exide Technologies will be available at the stand to discuss the topic and provide practical insights into implementation and business models.
Serge Arbes, Senior Business Director Global Energy Solutions at Exide Technologies, said: “The energy storage value chain is undergoing significant transformation, driven by rising costs and increasing demand for flexibility. At ees Europe 2026, we will show how companies can respond to these dynamics by optimizing energy use, reducing costs and unlocking new revenue opportunities.“
